About the Podcast

A serious inquiry into justice, accountability, and the human spirit in Delaware County.

The Necessity

This podcast was not created for entertainment. It was created out of necessity.

I’m Darin Kapanjie.

I’m just a regular guy from Delco, a father of four, small business owner, and college professor, who experienced firsthand what happens when systems fail.

Due Process in Delco was created to talk honestly about the justice system, what happens behind closed doors, and the human impact of custody battles, false accusations, and financial devastation.

It is a platform for truth, accountability, and hope, grounded in the faith that gives people the strength to endure the suffering that often comes with injustice.

Romans 12:21

Do not be conquered by evil but conquer evil with good.

I believed in the justice system. I believed in fairness. I believed that if you worked hard and did things the right way, the system would protect you.

I was wrong. My experience with the Delaware County justice system did not just challenge that belief. It shattered it.

“I believed in the justice system. I was wrong. My experience did not just challenge that belief. It shattered it.”

The Reality

I was removed from my home. I have not seen my girls in over two years. I spent over three days in prison. I suffered significant financial hardship. I was falsely arrested twice. I found myself caught in a system that, in my experience, operated without accountability, without transparency, and without the fundamental principles of due process it claims to uphold.

This podcast was born from that reality.

The Exposure

"Due Process in Delco" is not about speculation. It is about exposure. It is about pulling back the curtain on what happens when the system fails the very people it is supposed to protect. It is about telling the stories on the record and giving voice to those that never make it into it. It is about creating a platform for others who have experienced the same injustice to be heard.

Truth. Justice. Faith.

Exposing what is broken, without fear.

But this story does not end there. Because in the middle of losing everything, I found something eternal. For much of my life, I lived without real faith. I believed in myself, in hard work, in pushing forward, but not fully in God. That changed when everything fell apart. In the silence, in the isolation, and in the uncertainty, I turned to God, not casually, but completely.

The Foundation

I began meeting weekly with a monsignor, diving deep into scripture, theology, and truth. What started as a search for answers became a transformation. Through that journey, I made the decision to fully enter the Church and was confirmed into the Catholic faith. That decision changed everything. My faith became my foundation. My discipline became spiritual. My suffering found purpose.

Faith did not remove the injustice, but it gave me the strength to endure it, the clarity to understand it, and the conviction to speak out against it.

This podcast stands at the intersection of truth, justice, and faith. It is about holding systems accountable. It is about giving a voice to those who have been silenced. It is about exposing what is broken, without fear. And it is about hoping, that even in the face of injustice, truth still wins.

John 8:12

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
